What file types do you accept for engraving?
We accept PNG, JPG, SVG, and AI files. High-resolution artwork produces the best engraving results. If you're unsure about image quality, upload what you have and KMH Innovations will optimize it.
Can I upload my own logo or artwork?
Yes. You can upload any logo, image, or artwork during checkout. Simple designs fall under Vector Artwork, while detailed or photo-based images fall under the Detailed / Custom Image option.
Do you offer full-wrap engravings?
Yes. Full-wrap engraving is available under the Detailed / Custom Image tier. Wraps cover the full circumference of the tumbler and require precise rotary alignment for a seamless finish.
Will I receive a proof before engraving?
Proofs are available upon request for Detailed or Custom Image orders. Text-only and vector designs engrave exactly as shown unless you request a proof.
How long does production take?
Standard processing time is 3–7 business days for individual or small orders. Bulk or corporate orders may require 1–3 weeks depending on quantity. Rush processing (+$5) is available.
Is the engraving dishwasher-safe?
Yes. Laser engravings are permanent and will not wash off, fade, or peel. The stainless steel body and powder-coated exterior of your tumbler are safe for dishwasher use.
What’s the difference between Text, Vector Artwork, and Detailed Image engraving?
Text Only: Names, initials, dates, or short phrases.
Vector Artwork: Clean logos, icons, and simple line-art.
Detailed / Custom Image: Portraits, animals, customer photos, or full-wrap designs.
Can you engrave copyrighted or trademarked designs?
Only if you own the rights or can provide written permission. KMH Innovations cannot reproduce protected material without authorization.
Do you offer bulk or corporate discounts?
Yes. Custom pricing is available for large quantities, corporate gifting, promotional merchandise, and event orders.
Can I request a special layout or custom design idea?
Absolutely. You can leave notes at checkout or message us directly with your concept. We will prepare your artwork to achieve the best engraving results.
Slate FAQs
Are slate coasters heat-resistant?
Yes. Slate naturally withstands high temperatures and will not warp, crack, or discolor from hot cups or mugs.
Will the engraving on slate coasters fade or rub off?
No. Laser engraving cuts directly into the stone and is permanent. It will not peel, fade, or wear off with use.
Do slate coasters shed dust or particles?
Minimal dust is normal during manufacturing, but your coasters arrive sealed and pre-rinsed. They will not shed in regular use.
Do you offer coaster sets?
Yes. Slate coasters are available individually or in multi-packs. Bulk sets can be customized with mixed designs.
Challenge Coins FAQs
What size are your challenge coins?
Most coins are 40mm, but custom sizes can be produced on request.
Are your challenge coins double-sided?
Coins can be single-sided or double-sided depending on the design. You can request a second side during ordering.
Do you provide proofs for challenge coins?
Yes. Proofs are provided for all Detailed / Custom Image coin orders before engraving.
What metals do you engrave challenge coins on?
Brass and anodized metals are standard. Stainless steel options are available depending on your design.
Nameplate FAQs
What materials are your metal nameplates made from?
Plates are typically brushed aluminum, stainless steel, or anodized metal. All engrave cleanly with high contrast.
Can I request custom plate sizes or shapes?
Yes. Custom sizing, shapes, and mounting options are available upon request.
Can you engrave business logos or QR codes on nameplates?
Yes. Vector artwork engraves cleanly, and QR codes remain scannable when engraved.
Business Cards FAQs
What materials are your custom business cards made from?
My engraved business cards are made from durable metal, typically stainless steel or anodized aluminum. These cards have a premium feel, resist bending, and maintain a clean, polished look over time.
Do you offer standard business card sizes?
Yes. The standard size is 3.5 x 2 inches (89 x 51 mm). Custom sizing is available upon request for specialty cards.
Can I upload my own logo or artwork for the card?
Absolutely. You can upload any logo, image, or artwork during checkout. Vector artwork provides the cleanest engraving results, but I can optimize most file types.
What file types do you accept for business card designs?
I accept PNG, JPG, SVG, and AI files. For best results, provide the highest-resolution version of your artwork.
Can the cards include QR codes?
Yes. QR codes engrave cleanly and remain fully scannable as long as the image is high quality. You may link the code to your website, portfolio, contact information, or social media.
Do you offer double-sided engraving?
Yes. Business cards can be engraved on one or both sides. Double-sided designs can include branding on the front and contact info or a QR code on the back.
Will the engraving scratch or fade?
No. Laser engraving is permanent. The text and artwork won’t peel, rub off, or fade, even with daily handling.
Can I request a custom layout?
Yes. If you have a design concept in mind, leave notes at checkout or upload a mockup. I can arrange text, logos, and icons to match your brand style.
What if I don’t know how to design a business card?
No problem. Provide your logo, text, and any preferences, and I’ll create a clean, professional layout for you.
Do you offer bulk discounts for business cards?
Yes. Discounts are available for orders of 10 or more cards, as well as for businesses needing employee sets or event handouts.
How long does production take?
Standard turnaround is 3–7 business days. Larger or more complex orders may take slightly longer. Rush production is available when needed.

Yes. They are thin, smooth, and designed to fit standard card slots without damaging wallets or other items.

Yes. Detailed images engrave well on matte or anodized metals. For high-detail designs, please upload the best quality image available.

Yes. Detailed or high-contrast photos are engraved using a depth-map technique for clarity. Results depend on the quality of the original image.
Do you remove backgrounds or enhance images before engraving?
Yes. Basic cleanup and optimization are included. Background removal and advanced edits depend on image complexity.
What if I don’t know which engraving tier to choose?
If in doubt, upload your artwork and select the option that most closely fits. KMH Innovations will adjust the tier if needed and notify you.
Can you engrave copyrighted or trademarked designs?
Only with proof of ownership or written permission from the rights holder.
Is there a minimum order for custom engravings?
No. Single-item orders are welcome. Bulk pricing is available for larger quantities.
